O uso dos el\u00e9tricos come\u00e7ou em 1860, em Londres, quando eram puxados por cavalos. Com o passar dos anos, os el\u00e9tricos passaram a funcionar a vapor e, mais tarde, com eletricidade.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mas com o aumento da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do el\u00e9trico, os casos de acidentes tamb\u00e9m aumentaram.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"590\" height=\"525\" class=\"wp-image-3730\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uffizio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/croydon-tram-derail-dead-715883_1_o.jpeg\" alt=\"train derail\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uffizio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/croydon-tram-derail-dead-715883_1_o.jpeg 590w, https:\/\/uffizio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/croydon-tram-derail-dead-715883_1_o-300x267.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depois do <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/2016_Croydon_tram_derailment\">Acidente de el\u00e9trico em Croydon<\/a> O acidente ocorreu em novembro de 2016, e o governo do Reino Unido decidiu procurar uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o para a seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica. Isto resultou na morte de 7 pessoas e deixou mais de 60 inocentes feridos. O acidente foi causado porque o el\u00e9trico estava a 70 km\/h (43,5 mph) quando chegou \u00e0 curva antes da paragem Sandilands, em Croydon. Os investigadores afirmaram que o limite de velocidade permitido na \u00e1rea era de 19 km\/h (12 mph).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ap\u00f3s uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o mais aprofundada, o Departamento de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de Acidentes Ferrovi\u00e1rios (RAIB) sugeriu 15 recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es de seguran\u00e7a, para al\u00e9m do sistema de travagem autom\u00e1tica. As outras recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es inclu\u00edam a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da velocidade, a monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da velocidade, a sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o em cada curva e a melhoria do procedimento de reclama\u00e7\u00e3o do cliente.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agora, o Reino Unido vai ter o seu primeiro servi\u00e7o de el\u00e9tricos com travagem autom\u00e1tica em Londres. Estes sistemas acionar\u00e3o os trav\u00f5es automaticamente sempre que o el\u00e9trico ultrapassar o limite de velocidade num determinado local.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este sistema funcionar\u00e1 em conjunto com o sistema de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de aviso e monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de velocidade adicionado em 2017, utilizado para obter informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o <a href=\"https:\/\/uffizio.com\/pt\/use-case\/improving-passenger-safety-and-comfort-through-driving-behavior\/\">distra\u00e7\u00e3o e cansa\u00e7o do condutor<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A RAIB descobriu ainda que o condutor estava a dormitar devido ao cansa\u00e7o. Isto evidenciou a necessidade de encontrar uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o para o ajudar. Assim, o governo instalou o \"olho de gato\" no t\u00fanel e pintou faixas de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o para auxiliar o condutor. O olho de gato \u00e9 um par de esferas refletoras que marcam o centro da pista para chamar a aten\u00e7\u00e3o do condutor. A faixa de sinaliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma faixa de aviso de seguran\u00e7a pintada de amarelo e preto.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estas medidas de seguran\u00e7a, com um sistema de travagem autom\u00e1tica, garantir\u00e3o a seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica no el\u00e9ctrico.
